I’d like to know if I can add kids channels to my BT Vision subscription which will give my daughter the same content as Sky. I’m in the process of cancelling Sky and switching to BT Vision and my daughter informs me that the BT Vision On Demand content for Hannah Montana, Jonas Bros, Wizards of Waverly Place, etc are all old episodes. Can I subscribe to these channels without having Sky?

Our Answer
There are only three kids channels broadcast in real-time on BT Vision: CBBC, CBeebies and CITV. BT Vision doesn’t offer real-time kids TV channels such as The Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, Boomerang or Nickelodeon.
What BT Vision does offer, however, is a library of on-demand kids TV shows, that come from a number of different TV channels.
At the time of writing, the most watched shows on the BT Vision kids service include: Peppa Pig, Generator Rex, Phineas and Ferb, Ed, Edd and Eddy, Ben 10, Bob The Builder, Kick Buttowski, Thomas and friends, Spongebob Squarepants, Hannah Montana, X-Men, Battle Force 5 and Wizards of Waverly Place. Your daughter’s right in that these are unlikely to be the very latest episodes, as they’re available on Pay TV services such as Sky.
